LEAKE STREET GRAFFITI BLOG
CATEGORY: GRAFFITI POST DATE: 26TH APRIL 2025
"Just show me the photos!" You got it, here they are.
During the working week, when I'm not WFH, I take regular strolls through London's Leake Street (usually at lunchtime en-route to Tesco for a Meal Deal). This Graffiti Tunnel under Waterloo Station is one of London's finest art galleries, and a must-see for tourists (Google Maps link). Since 2008 it's been an authorised graffiti area, following Banksy's Cans Festival of that year. On display is an ever-changing collection of inspiring artworks by some very talented people. Also some inept scrawls.
On returning from Tesco Express (carrying a tasty Main + Snack + Drink), I pause to take pictures. There's just over 2,500 photos on the HDD, and now they've been shared on this site. Head over to the Graffiti pages and have a click around.

Added 26-05-25: The Big One - over 1,100 photos from 2019. I was very snap-happy this year. Might have to split this year into two parts due to the page-load times.
Added 27-04-25: The final upload of pre-2018 photos, shoved into a folder named OLDER. Plus we're bang up to date with the 2025 photos. Wow - there are 2,500 photos now on the site!
